Via XPO (dance, video lecture and text collection)
In 2008 Sarma – along with historian Staf Vos and theatre scientist Lieve Dierckx – composed an anthology of dance at the Expo of 1958. The unique appearance of many international dance companies at that time had a decisive influence on dance criticism in Belgium. Sarma asked Eric De Kuyper – one of the founders of Flemish dance criticism – to comment on the collection of texts. In an intimate video lecture he discloses this important piece of dance history. Also in the framework of the memorial of Expo 58, Mark Vanrunxt created the outdoor performance Specifiek. On Sarma's invitation, the choreographer replays the solo in a Brussels context.
In 2008 stelde Sarma - samen met de historicus Staf Vos en de theaterwetenschapper Lieve Dierckx - een anthologie samen rond dans op Expo 58. De voor die tijd unieke aanwezigheid van vele buitenlandse dansgezelschappen had een beslissende invloed op de ontwikkeling van de Belgische danskritiek. Sarma vroeg aan Eric De Kuyper – één van de grondleggers van de Vlaamse danskritiek – om de tekstcollectie te becommentariëren. In een intieme video lecture ontsluit hij dit belangrijk stuk dansgeschiedenis. Eveneens naar aanleiding van de herdenking van Expo 58 maakte Mark Vanrunxt de buitenperformance Specifiek. Op uitnodiging van Sarma herneemt de choreograaf deze solo in een Brusselse context.

En 2008, Sarma, l’historien Staf Vos et la théoricienne du théâtre Lieve Dierickx ont composé une anthologie de la danse à l'Expo 58. La présence de nombreuses compagnies de danse, exceptionnelle à l'époque, a influencé de façon décisive la critique belge de danse. Eric De Kuyper – un des fondateurs de la critique de danse en Flandre – commente la collection de textes rassemblés. Dans une conférence vidéo intime, il révèle cet important moment de l'histoire théâtrale. Dans le cadre de la commémoration de l'Expo 58, Mark Vanrunxt a également créé le spectacle Specifiek. Sarma invite le chorégraphe à reprendre la pièce dans un contexte bruxellois.
